When I was a child, the fields seemed to be full of lapwings, but now seeing a handful is a treat. I love their perky plume and their bottle green, iridescent feathers, but, most of all, I love their "peewit call" when they tumble through the skies in Spring in their courtship dance. This print is inspired by my love of these birds.
 
Each print is hand coloured with watercolour and so, although this is printed in a limited edition of 50, each one is unique.
 
Each is hand printed and pulled with environmentally-friendly, waterbased ink on heavyweight quality, soft  paper.
 
Each print is signed, numbered and dated by the artist.
 
The dimensions are 38cm by 27cm. They are printed on heavyweight Somerset Ivory paper and each will be  backed on a board, wrapped in cellophane and then in archival tissue. It will be securely posted by First Class mail.
